Dear Materialistic Bitches: You SUCK!

I was curious about something guys were buzzing about concerning the Greek riots, and decided to find the truth about it in the form of data, not guesses.  Apparently, the guys were correct.  The riots in Greece weren’t just sparked by the shooting of a 15 year old student.  That was just the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Apparently, even though unemployment hovers between 7-8% in Greece, over half of workers there under 30 have to live with their parents for financial reasons.  They can’t be independent because they’re working but simply don’t make enough.

Back in the day, when a community had issues like this, people just did what they had to do, and lived as extended families, or communally.  Now, hard working guys are basically being rejected because they can’t provide the kind of lifestyle women want because they watch too much damned television.

What happened to the times when a nice girl would marry a struggling teacher, help her aging in-laws, and people would learn to get along because they had to?

It’s not just that this is economically important, but socially important as well.  I’m more comfortable around my ex in-laws than I am around my own parents because of this very thing.  They’re people who know how to live with others without thought policing.  My parents didn’t learn that until my brother provided them some shock therapy via being a rapper.

Well, Greece is now paying for women thinking with their wallets, which is as bad or worse than men thinking with their genitals.  I hope this revolutionary activity has at least added to some guys’ macho factor, and that things will calm down because folks have to get married due to the post revolutionary baby boom.

If you’re living in a place with a similar problem, before the Molotov cocktails start flying, start choosing guys whose parents you get along with, instead of holding out for a credit card on an incubator.

  1. Nicole, apparently it's common in some parts of Europe(es Italy) for young adults to live with their parents until they are 30. It sounds so weird to us Americans because as soon as we turn 18, many of us are out the door. Of course it's changing now since it has become cool to live with parents who provide shelter for low rent, free food ,free laundry service, and shrink.

As I read these PUA websites, I'm really amazed at how much men desire women both physically and mentally. Not having access to a woman seems to really drive some men mad.

  2. Because it’s common, one would think women would be more understanding, and men wouldn’t feel bad about themselves because of it. The economic situation has always sucked for many, but it’s the attitude about it that has changed. In the past, a poor guy could find a girlfriend, but now they can’t.

I’m amazed by the male sex drive too. It’s one of those natural wonders that in my opinion, keeps humanity from straying too far from natural.

Looking at it a certain way, one could say that part of the problem in Greece is that humans (girls and their parents wishing and wanting the best for them) strayed too far from the natural order, thinking they could beat the odds of selection, and perhaps turn material greed into love. Love is love though, and our bodies and minds work the same way they have for some time.

A friend of mine from Jordan says similar things are happening there. Women marry for money, and not for love. So many guys are left in the cold.
